Edelrid's new belaying experience is here! The Edelrid Pinch is a versatile assisted braking device for use in both sports and multi-pitch climbing situations. The Pinch is the first device on the market that can be attached directly to the central loop of a climbing harness. This keeps the device closer to the user, and allows the belayer to pay out 20-30cm more rope at a time.
